The plot of the story
Lily Homes is too tired of the secrets her dad is keeping from her. She doesn’t know why they are living in India when they have a huge mansion in London! She doesn’t even know where her mom is! No matter how many times she asks, her dad refuses to budge and talk to her about it. One day, she becomes so frustrated that she decides that no matter what, she will find her mom. Until she witnesses her dad get shot in front of her. What happened out of nowhere? Who shot her dad and why? She will find the answers to these questions with the help of her best friend, Aayat, and her very cute boyfriend, Ivan. Do you think a few teenagers can stand against something dangerous? Will Lily end up finding her mom? Will she be able to bring justice to her father’s murder? Why don’t you give it a read and find out?

Dedicated to all the writers and poets, and to my younger self, who did not believe in herself enough.
Foreword
If you are looking forward to reading some pretentiously happy story of a teenage girl about her high-school drama and romance, you should not continue reading this, because my story is quite far from it. I really wish my story was on the list of those high school dramas with a tinge of romance. Now, you will say ‘aww, poor baby! I bet you are just exaggerating’, to which I will argue about how frustrating and complicated my life is. Then you will say something, and I will say something in return, and this will go on until I eventually start narrating my story. Either way, you are going to end up listening to the damn story, huh! Why not just get into it head on, then?
